WARNING - DUMB QUESTION
I am a technical moron. I have seen many posts regarding modifying FPHG and/or PT settings to split observed mined hands from those played in to avoid duplication. Last night I played for about 2 hours with FPHG open. FPHG is in an intertops folder as I play on party. After importing that played session as well as all the mined hands it does not seem like there is any duplication of the hands as I would expect. I thought FPHG would write a hhf that would duplicate the PP hhf on the tables I was playing at and cause problems with my PT stats. Thanks for reading this far. Is ignorance bliss or am I missing something that is going to screw with my stats? |

[/ QUOTE ] I think the way PT works means that PT keeps track of the hand numbers and wont import duplicate hands into the same DB. If you were to use a separate DB for observed hands and another for played hands then this might cause problems (but tbo I'm not 100% sure how PT handles this...). [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Hey guys how do i import the .hhf files from the the folder of the PHG? do i just import the .hhf files? thx for help in advance [/ QUOTE ] Yes, FPHG just saves the .hhf files to the folder where you ran it from. You can then just use the "lightning bolt" option in PT to import the .hhf (I think this is the easiest method...). Juk [/ QUOTE ] I think an easier way is to let auto import do it. I forget who posted it, but I read it in this thread. Basically just create a new .txt file, rename it to pokernow.exe (or multipoker/empire/intertops, whatever) and put it in the folder where you have FreePHG. Then change the auto import program file location. Works like it used to in the old days. [/ QUOTE ] How do you control which file or folder that FreePHG writes the HH files to? I created a folder in my desktop which is empty except the freePHG.exe. When I double click to run the program it writes the HH to same folder. I tried what you mentioned above but it won't put the HH in the new .txt document. Also, when I run the lightening bolt on PT it won't recognize that there are any HH in this folder. I can find them however using the manual input from the far left menu. Help? |

Tried to use v0.06 today and I install everything just like I did with v0.05 and into the same folder after I delete the old version but for some reason v0.06 writes the HH into a txt like I set it up to but PokerTracker won't import the hands. Comes up with 0 HH found when I try to import. I switched everything back to v0.05 and it is working again with PT. Weird any idea what is up?

[/ QUOTE ] Have you used any other options that could cause this and what impoprt method in PT are you using? I not 100% sure what could cause this, but one thing you could try is running a copy of v0.05 and v0.06 at the same time. If you can try this for me, then send me the HH files as attachments ( ) and I can compare them to figure out what has changed. Juk |

[/ QUOTE ] Edit run.bat to look like this: echo off freephg.exe -e txt and then use run.bat to run FPHG rather than the exe. Juk |

[/ QUOTE ] It just writes to whatever folder it is in. You can try making a shortcut and using the "start in" option to make it save in a different location. [ QUOTE ] I created a folder in my desktop which is empty except the freePHG.exe. When I double click to run the program it writes the HH to same folder. I can find them however using the manual input from the far left menu. Help? [/ QUOTE ] I just tried this today with a newer version of PT and I couldn't get the hands imported properly either. Looks like making a fake PokerNow.exe is the better option. Also, if you want to write to txt files then edit run.bat to look like this: echo off freephg.exe -e txt Then make sure you use run.bat to run it. Juk |
