The Mariners seem to be waking up though, they destroyed Halama and Jeremi Gonzalez. Then again, they destroyed Pavano, too.

[/ QUOTE ]

The pitching in that game is so godawful.

You're in the AL because of team agreements and maybe because you want some respect. Competing in the toughest division in the tougher league earns you respect.

That man can't play a field position.

And neither can 4 of your offensive players.

No, we're in the AL East because Big Papi willed it to be that way.

If Moose can get out of this without allowing those 2 runs to score, I will be amazed.

Bernie is 36 years old, has bad knees, and he played CENTER FIELD his entire career, one of the toughest defensive positions. Ortiz is a first baseman, and that's the easiest defensive position. And I guarantee you that Bernie could play 1B better than Ortiz. So your argument is stupid.

Ortiz is just a klutz. That's why he's not in the field.

I offer no excuses for Giambi.

Bernie Williams is not 4 players. Well, he wasn't last time I checked anyways.

Who else is there besides Giambi?

Tino plays 1B, and Sierra is just a pinch hitter. Sierra is also 40 years old.

I don't know. It was Jack's point. I was merely pointing out that Bernie is not 4 players. In other news, Kelly Clarkson is really awesome.

Replace Bernie with Kirby Puckett and Ortiz with Don Mattingly throughout. Rinse and repeat.
