bicylekick our developer would like you to shoot an e-mail to [email protected] so that he can ask you some questions about your setup.

Also we've tracked down a bug that was introduced with the latest party patch, it prevents IdleMiner from working on SNGs. We have it fixed and will put it up tonight in a patch .

goodguy,

We are unaware of any significant differences either way - I do not think it matters.

The way it works right now, it will open which ever tables it encounters first. So if you want biggest average pot tables open first, sort your PP lobby so that the biggest average pot tables are at the top.

Something like that has a good chance of making it in as a feature, though.

It looks like IM still evenly distributes the number of tables evenly between all of the selected stakes. Is there any chance that some type of priority could be factored in? Let's say I want to datamine stakes A, B, C. I would prefer that up to 12 tables of A were opened, and only if there were less than 12, then B would be opened, and lastly C. I guess something would need to be worked out so that we wouldn't run into the situation where a table was being opened and closed over and over, because the minimum number of players was fluctuating on the border.

We looked into doing it the way you suggest Dazarath but instead decided to design the software to allow the user to select the number of tables they wanted to open for each limit. The reason we did this is because it would be very rare for there to be less than 12 tables available for a limit. Perhaps in the future we will be able to add both.

idleminer and others - you may find it easier to track the progress of a thread (such as this one) by setting it as one of your "favourite topics" (bottom left of thread.

after this, all replies are sent to you by email.

This is not true. Right now, I'm mostly datamining the 30/60, 50/100, and 100/200 full ring games. At certain times, there could be many 30/60 games running, while at other times, it's between 2-4. But for the 50/100 and the 100/200 games, the number of tables ranges between 1-4, usually ~2.

I'm thinking something like this would work. At any time when there are less than the maximum number of tables open, then go to the highest priority stakes and open a table there. If there are none there, then move to the next highest priority stakes. But don't go about closing tables that are of second priority just because a top priority table is available. I would say just look for new tables when an old one no longer fits the criteria (ie. falls below x players).

Im suprised to hear you say that you decided not to use this approach. Just yesterday I emailed you about this exact subject and was told that it is on the top of the feature to-do list.

Not near as rare as you would think. Unless you are playing 2/4 or below this is going to be an issue at some point every single day.(for full ring players)

Current full ring games for limit holdem.

Actually this was some miscommunication between the developer and I. You spoke directly to the developer, not me ([email protected], not [email protected]) and there was some confusion.

The consensus at the moment is that its the best canidate for a new feature.

The software doesn't close Party for me, whether I use the buttons, or the quick close mode. Is anyone else having this issue, or is it just me?

This appears to be an issue that win2k users have been having, we're looking in to it. Are you on win2k?
