A much more relevant comparison would be to compare the same month from a year ago. I'd bet it's up 10-20% or more but I have no clue. Slightly unrelated, this thread has inadvertently let the proletariat behind the mod curtain and I have a pretty good idea of where everyone stands in Mod Wars™. I'll put a chart together when I get a minute.

It will be interesting when I get around to backing into the 4Q05 and 1Q06 numbers, traffic has increased quite a bit since then, including the shifting of traffic to many of the new forums created over the last year or so. Another interesting trend that I didn't mention was the significant drop in IB traffic, that is likely Legislation related. A/R traffic also dropped off a bit.

In other news : Post count from supporters of the ElD forum in Sniper's Unofficial 2+2 Post Count Analysis thread rose by 30% further supporting the theory that they actually do care what he thinks! [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

Why not fold The Lounge into El Diablo Forum, and have Diablo or whomever moderate that? They are basically the same tenor / style / function. Is it purely mod politics? There are good posters in The Lounge (Katy, Dom, Pryor) I never see anymore cause they are over there. Not trying to stir the pot - just honestly don't see a functional difference between the 2 forums at all. -Al
