id also like to add that when you limit your sample to a higher and higher average rating, your success rate necessarily falls but at least when you do succeed it's far better than the higher success rate you acheive w/ the lower average rated proposition-sample

so, you dont necessarily NEED to be banging ugly chics so long as you're willing to put in the work and go for a more limited, higher average rating, lower success rate sample. eventually you just exude confidence that that ATTRACTS all kinds of women. then you can actually have a selection process yourself or at least skyrockets your success/proposition rate.
