I didn't have it up there until very recently when I found out that apparently you won't show up on a search if someone searches by an income, like if they put "25k or more" in the field, u won't show up at all. So I added it in there. Also, I don't mind if a chick wants me just for $, 'cause I never pay for anything any more and certainly won't let a chick use me for the $. Also, I am very modest about what I do/how much I make, so I rarely bring it up, yet it's a plus (I think) so I'd like to semi-advertise it.

Hah, yeah, I'm sure my hair cut sux. Whenever I went before, I would usually go w/ my GF and let her have "playtime" with it. So she probably gave me something bad. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] I haven't been yet since we split up, it's getting about that time so I am going to do the "make me look good, i don't care what u do" thing here soon. I never part it intentionally though, I just comb it back out of my face and don't put any gel or anything in it, so it just comes out that way.

Yeah, the day after my girlfriend moved out, I dusted off my Total Gym (thing u see on infomercials w/ Chuck Norris) and started using it again. I've been alternating every day between walking Daisy and going to the mall/park and doing exercises on the Total Gym. I've also cut back in my food intake quite a bit, and bought some "healthy" [censored] like Apples, Bananas, and Grapes to snack on, which is a big step for a guy who eats fast food/restaurants every day and hates fruit. I was between 260-265 when she moved out, and the scale hit 250 the other night, but it's around 255 right now.

I had not considered multi-vitamins and protein shakes/etc., I'm not even sure where to start with that sort of stuff. I'll do a little research and ask my parents. I guess there isn't really a 1 vitamin/shake fits all type of thing, is there?

awesome start. As you know there's a zillion threads here about this, but in my personal experience from losing 20 lbs of fat (and then gaining 5-10 lbs of muscle) in the last year or so, its basically more about dieting than exercise. Stop eating out, period - go to the grocery store, buy DIET food, low fat, low cal. Buy lean cuisine frozen dinners, buy low fat hamburgers/hot dogs with low fat wheat buns, buy soup, buy veggies. Exercising helps but its simply about calories in/calories out, and your diet is much more effective in that than spending 30 minutes burning 500 calories when you burn 2000ish a day by just sitting anyways.

as far as protein shakes I just went to www.bodybuilding.com and picked up the #1 most popular item, ON whey protein (chocolate). It actually tastes pretty good with milk and I have seen more improvement since I've been using it. I don't know much about multivitamins but I can't imagine there's a huge difference, if you go to that site I'm sure you can find something, I'm just working on some pills I got from gnc a long time ago.

The copy I read I got from the local library. Maybe he can do this too, but in Jesusland it's less likely he'll be able to find it there. There are also new and used copies on Amazon for around $16.
