If someone talks to Kwazar find out how his chips went up. (I'm not taking a position either way as to scam/truth).

Something is still not right here, regardless. Adam [/ QUOTE ] Exactly. If he's not scamming his friends and really had an accident, he scammed the WSOP. If he didn't play, shouldn't he return the money to the people who bought a piece of him? |

[ QUOTE ]
This is killing me... Please someone find out what's going on. [/ QUOTE ] What's more is there to find out? This fellow Kwazar is in the hospital for certain, and there is little cause to doubt that he was in an accident on July 7th as stated by his friend. Rather than exposing an elaborate scam of a fake injury on this thread, the posters herein have instead exposed that: 1) Someone played in Kwazar's place in the WSOP OR 2) Posts about Kwazar's unfortunate accident by his friend have been incorrect as to the date of it. It is more likely that someone played in Kwazar's place. It was probably a friend of his. His accident was claimed to be on 7/7, and his seat assignment was for 7/8. This thread would have taken a drastically different turn if the UMC hospital had confirmed Kwazar's presence to the OOTer who called there last week. Given the number of blog-scams and send-money scams on the internet, and given the similar tone to the blog posts by Mr. Kwazar's friend, the doubts on this thread were reasonable. As for any conjecture that this is an even-more-elaborate scam now, this is foolish and extremely unlikely. A relevant factor is the fact that Kwazar and Kwazar's friend have built a big "relationship" network on MySpace (possibly including hookups, swinging, etc. from the tone of some of the blog-visitor postings), which they would probably not put "at risk." |

[ QUOTE ] I don't know who this Kwazar is, but the issue is still entertaining to follow. The issue is pretty clear. These two things can not be true: 1) Kwazar played in the WSOP as described. 2) Kwazar has been in the ICU since before the WSOP started. My guesses: 1) Fraud on WSOP: Kwazar was in an accident and someone used a FAKE ID to play in his place by arrangement. OR 2) Fraud on myspace: Kwazar played in the WSOP because he was not in an accident. [/ QUOTE ] The fact is there's a 99.9% chance that one of the two above scenarios is true. If he's in the hospital, then it's most likely to be case #1 (as somehow Keith Kozar made it 5 days into the WSOP ME so that on "Day 2" he had $29,300 in chips). Again agin, let's remember how anti-fraud-of-his-identity Kwazar was in THIS THREAD. Something is still not right here, regardless. Adam [/ QUOTE ] Give it up. It does not matter now. Do something productive with your time. |

[/ QUOTE ] yeah--I just feel really bad about it, especially some of my own comments, and want to see it dissapear. Also, eventually it would be pretty funny for whenever down the line he get's around to trying to find the thread. |
