All this talk about limit has got me in the mood to play some, too bad I don't have time today though...
Why isn't my hand getting any love btw? Had to manually put in all the icons, change the names. Cause personally I really like the fact that he put me on Ten high |

SirFelixCat, In the 'Position Stats' tab, the 'Difference w/o Blind' column is what you want to be looking at. This is the $ you've won or lost in total from the BB or SB after the posting of it blind. [/ QUOTE ] Hmmm...if that's the case, I'm curious what some of y'alls numbers are. I'm +517.25 Diff w/o Blind out of the SB this month (15k hands) with a -0.07BB/Hand total. What are some of y'alls numbers and is the above good or bad? This all stems from the difference between most ppls style of VPIP from SB being super tight and then there's mine and Pokey's style where we tend to complete quite a bit and I am trying to determine if I should just be mucking or not.... |

What I want to know, basically, is:
i want BBwon/hand if we folded every SB vs BBwon/hand where we're playing it out, ie. I'm at a BBwon/hand of -0.07...what would it be if I never played out of the SB. This should tell me whether I'm winning in the SB and if I should continue the style I am. TIA. |

How much do you raise to out of the blinds.. if you KNOW button will call after making any kind of steal raise. I had a guy earlier who would never fold after button raising.. he'd make it 2.. I made it 9 he caught a set.. he make it 2.. I made it 14 and he folded on a AA3 flop. Should it matter what kind of hand I have how much to raise.. should I keep raising good hands more to find his limit? [/ QUOTE ] If you know he will call, what's the point in making a steal raise? But if this is your first reraise at the table and if villain was decent then he should be definitely folding most pairs here. It's possible he just wrongly thinks it is correct to call huge reraises with any pair, so he may well fold stuff like AX suited and loads of other hands he should be stealing with. |

I played a 5 card stud SNG yesterday. I'd never played the game before but it seems like there's alot of scope for bluffing. But I notice Stars don't offer it as a high stakes SNG, so maybe it's much more suited to being a cash game.
And I've been playing a bit of Omaha lately and last time I tried it I thought it was boring, but I'm getting into it more now. |

Can't you just look at your profit/loss in SB only and then multiply the number of hands played in SB by the size of the small blind to find out how much you would have lost by folding it every time, and then compare the 2 figures.
