After he led the river and I raised, he typed out in the chat box "I have quad 8's" or something to that effect. I've only been a small stakes semi-pro but I've been a full time profession smart-ass for over 25 years now. Unfortunatly I was 7 tabling at the time and worried about timing out so I couldnt even type out a clever response.

I'd have been happy even if i could get out a "Thats a good hand! You still lose though"

Are there rules about discussing a jackpot hand before it unfolds, not that it matters in this spot?

Usually something is stated in the rules about not sharing information while the hand is ongoing.

yeah, I'm not sure what they'd do if it had been a BBJ table. But I 'm sure if it was he'd have been quite.

Are my AP 5-10 woes turning around?! I won $50 and $25 on two occasions today! I think I've officailly won the internetz today. I'm taking my huge pile of winnings and going pro in Vegas now!

Palomino did show me why I dont defend my BB with 72 even if it is soooted :-) Damn thread by Sharpie got me in trouble. Although there was a beuatiful one where I riased 99 out of the SB when all 4 players had limped in. Got my thinking of a certain other thread.....

Note to self: Just give Palomino $50 and ask her to leave my table instead of playing her?

if you are giving her $50, you should ask for more than that, never know what girls will agree to

I think I made more than $100 off you with my suited kings today so how could I accept that offer??? BTW, the AK vs K7 on the KKxxx board was NOT a suited king...that's why i lost.

Thats why I didnt 3-bet you. I was terrified it was KQs.

You know something is wrong, or that we're playing at the same table to much when I can narrow your hand down to K8s or K4s and be right.

Hope every one elses Sept started off as well as mine +$800. whee. Now if the jerks in support would credit my account for the friday bonus I'd be set. Really starting to bug me, I dont get an option to enter a bonus code so I just send support a email. Not that big a deal because I have to send them one anyway for the multiple deposits and the full bonus. Last three times now though I've had to send them two emails before my account was credited. MAy be time to throw a hissy fit

OK, the K8s or K4s was easy, I said that I had a suited king with a flush draw and a pair. Those were the only two options on that board...lol. I was a bit afraid to raise you on that trip king hand because I knew you were afraid I had trips and you still be the turn...then when you didn't 3bet I figured I was good! Damn you are a wuss for not 3 betting AK there! lol.

Lucky you, my Sept started off -$500, ew. O well, Aug started out -$1600 after 2 days so I'm not worried.

Easy to say now that the hand is over, but K8s was my guess before anything was actually typed out. I even scared myself a little when I was that close as long as you were telling the truth :-)

Maybe, but not half as big a wuss as Zack was today on a similiar situation but a much safer board :-)

I dont remember the flop action. Didnt I bet/3bet? I know I 3bet you PF. 2+2 creates an interesting problem sometimes. Between all the hands we've logged, and posts on the forums I feel I have a pretty good line on how you play, and I'm sure you'd say the same to me. I 3bet you on the flop and PF, but you still raised me on the flop, and turn. I was pretty sure I had the best hand but couldnt figure out what the hell you had.

And I knew that you knew that I wouldnt lead the turn without a big hand, so the raise scared me :-) Basically I put you KJ, KQ, AK, or PP that had filled up.

and for the record I decided to just suck it up and admit my AP screen name: I am CLEVERBEAVER.
