Is it just me or are there way more shortstacks on the NL100 tables at FullTilt compared to NL50? Or does my table selection just suck?

At 5 nl, nah, potting and overpotting will still get called enough to be profitable.

[/ QUOTE ]

lets think bigger than 5NL, im hoping to not be there much longer.

[/ QUOTE ]

That really depends. There are still gonna be players who will still call when you pot the crap out of everything. I personally resort to 2/3 or 3/4 on the flop because I use that as a regular continuation bet and I don't like varying bet size based on hand strength. Do bet more because of flop texture though. Also, I usually don't bet that much on the river; there's no more draws for the donks to chase.

Took a shot at PP 100NL on Friday - I'll share a few thougts. Played 1500 hands, ended down 3 BI's playing 17/14.

Preflop: I was very surprised how little 3 betting was going on. To me, it didn't look a whole lot more than at 50NL these days. Certinaly not hugely out of line with an expected level of 3b with strong hands. So that wasn't a huge concern.

Postflop: I definitely noticed extra aggroness and found it quite tough to cope with. My main problem was assuming everyone was making a move on me, and this is something I couldn't shake in every big pot I was in and certainly cost me some money. Generally speaking, I felt the postflop play was noticebaly better than at 50NL.

Players: there certinaly were more 17/16 - 22/20 types than at 50, but still a large number of guys with clownish stats. Also a larger number of decent LAGs. But frankly overall it wasn't that different to the stats profiles you see at 50NL.

Overall: Beat 50NL over a good sample, get rolled and it will be ok.

Anyway, here are my 5 biggest losing hands:

Hand 1: I played it fine, get unlucky
Hand 2: Meh...thought he was making a move/was weaker, but one way or the other I really don't think hero stacking off here is that great TBH.
Hand 3: Pretty badly played - I have no idea what the turn bet was meant to accomplish. Definitely not good IMO. Also, this hand clearly shows the fear if the bigger money.
Hand 4: Villain a huge LAGro monkey, so I like my preflop 4bet, but I was totally paralysed by his flop mr and looking back think my fold must be horrible.
Hand 5: Again, paranoia at a guy making a move, but I think the turn is a clear fold.

hand 1: standard
hand 2: b/3bai on a relatively dry flop like this is meh but I think it's alright
hand 3: I probably fold the flop but after calling I like checking behind on turn (he's probably firing a K on the turn there) and calling river.
hand 4: I have a tough time folding this to LAGro monkeys.
Hand 5: If you're betting the turn it has to be more.
