Maybe the issue is not finding a way to get money, it's finding a way to get money without offending Anacardo's sensibilities/not being deemed worthwhile. Which is pretty hard to do. Unless you have a fairly expensive CAR TO SELL.

[/ QUOTE ]

Okay, let me reveal just how stupid I really am.

I've made a $2000 down payment and four $320 monthly payments on this car. I imagine I'd get a couple of grand less than what I payed for the car, were I to go to the trouble and expense of selling it. Balance it all out and you end up with next to nothing, aside from not having to make the payment. I still need a car. How does this help me?

So what about all those poor people? What about all those people who just aren't rich? There's acres of diamonds out there for everybody and they're just too stupid to scoop 'em up?

[/ QUOTE ]
LOL, the vast majority of the population relies on the productivity of a few to provide them with opportunities to make money. It's because they cannot produce it for themselves, because they are lazy/stupid/whatever. If you are anywhere near as smart as you claim, you could find something to do.

[/ QUOTE ]

So let me get this straight.

The entrepreneurial class, they're the brave supermen from which all light and goodness flows down to us, the masses. If only people weren't so goddamn stupid, and could figure out how to create value themselves instead of leeching off these heroes with their 'jobs' and 'labor,' we'd all be driving Maseratis and something like the Kingdom of God might dawn on earth.

Is that your picture of society?

"Oh, well, when you put it THAT way..."

Wait, wait wait.

Hold on a second.

The fact that I don't talk about progress, who I've been sending resumes to / working contacts with, etc. etc. etc. - does that lead you all to believe that I've done literally nothing to find a job in Atlanta from East Texas besides sit here and bitch about having to do it in the first place? Because that would be kinda LOL.

Sorry 'Cardo, but didn't you tell me like two days ago you didn't have a resume? That was when I offered to MAKE ONE FOR YOU and APPLY TO JOBS ON YOUR BEHALF, both of which offers you ignored.

Since you haven't liked many of the ideas brought up in this thread, I'm wondering where you've submitted resumes, and the types of positions that you've been interested in?

Cardo,

Wow, I must be some sort of paradox or something.

Things would be a lot easier for you if you stopped going through life with the assumption that you are so much smarter than everyone else.

Cardo,

"I've made a $2000 down payment and four $320 monthly payments on this car."

Why did you purchase this car given your financial condition at the time?
