Tek and Pedroia's bat were some concerns for me early, but so far so good. The C is hitting like .286, and the kid has a good approach, he can hit, college and .300 at AAA, just got to get used to the bigs (that's all, lol!), nice that he can hit 9th and take his time and now he's hopefully coming around.

With Dustin's OPS above .700, the who's down the least for me lately scorn now goes to...
Julio Lugo, whose .229/.306/.314 is not exciting anyone. Thankfully he's a historically slow starter so just as we start to get on him for his lack of production he should start to show why he got a 4/36 deal this offseason.

On a different note, how come Buchholz hasn't gotten any consideration for a callup? 35 K to 3 BB in 27 IP plays on my team for sure. Flyball rate is a little disconcerting as that could translate into a lot of doubles/hr at fenway but at the very least he's better than a certain pockmarked face elderly gentleman holding down the back of the rotation.
