If Nachbar hit that 3, I would have cried. And I have a feeling people would get fired in the organization lol.
Also I love the Jose chants in the crowd.

wowowow...jose really pulled through tonight, lets just hope its nothing serious with the ankle. if CB4 can step up in NJ and jose can deliver a performance similar to tonights then its back to the t-dot for game 7. GO RAPS GO!!

I think Sam derserves some credit tonight. Mopete had a great game as did Bargnani. I like Rasho but I think we needed more of a scoring threat in the first quarter, hence why Bargnani was in. It worked out, he was a monster the first half.

4th - You're right, some credit should go to Sam. Putting Mo and Andrea in the starting lineup without announcing it first. Saying that changes will be made and having no info being leaked out. Also he realized that Trasho is worthless and Mo needs more minutes. It sucks that Mo is leaving next year, but if we can get Nocioni then I'll forget about it.

perhaps a raptors fan could educate me here (and im trying not to be too biased, since my only real knowledge of the raptors has stemmed from this playoff series) but why does calderon backup ford, and not vica versa?

This topic has been beat to death here in Toronto. It's our version of Nash for MVP debate
I am not a huge Ford fan and if you ever listen to the media in Toronto you won't find too many either amongst Raps fans. Even Ford supporters here would agree that TJ is only slightly better than Calderon (if at all). I'm not sold on this, and it would be a different case if we really got to see Calderon starting and see what he could do.

It's been said in the media that even within Toronto's management that deep down inside they feel that Calderon would probably bring more to the table than Ford, but the case with Ford is that he has more potential. For what they invested in him, he's still young. He's amongst the fastest point guard in the league. He's very athletic and can make some incredible plays. That is the key here and it's potential. Colangelo has said that he had no idea that Calderon would turn out to be the player he is now.

That said, I'm so thrilled that we have the PG situation that we have in Toronto. Both of them can light it up on any given night when the other is having an off night.

I haven't seen Toronto play a lot this year (less than 10 games) but every time I see TJ Ford is just shooting jumpers with 15-20s in the shot clock, I really don't like that in a PG

We see the same thing Another thing I hate is when the game is on the line, Ford is ALWAYS making the last play shooting the ball. I admit I'm hard on Ford a lot of the times but it's interesting to see others feel the same way too when TJ is clearly having a very fine season.

Surprising that no one has mentioned Bosh struggles yet. Sure he's young and is the face of our franchise but I don't know how arguably the most dominant big man in the East scores all his points on jumpers and free throws. Although if that reverse went in it would have been sick.
If Bosh doesn't show up in Game 6 and we get blown out on the road once again, you know that Toronto fans will question whether we can win a title with him leading us.

I think Bosh was on his way to having a great game until foul troubles. He's clearly frustrated this series. During the regular season when Bosh is getting double and tripled team, our shooters were making all the shots. When Bargnani went out with the apendectomy, he's been really struggling coming back and he's just slowly getting back to form like he did tonight.
The Raps are not shooting as well as they did all season (this is expected in the playoffs) but if we can get Bargnani going again like he did tonight, I can see the floor opening up for Bosh again. I hope Sam stays with this lineup and Bargnani can start again.

Did you see the play during the 4th when there were four(!)
red jerseys on Bosh.

I was at the game today. Sick game to be at the crowd was nuts. Some thoughts.
Why does Bosh always get the ball and than settle for face up midrange jumpers instead of driving?
One or ideally both of Calderon and Ford need to be back for game 6.
4thstreet we clearly disagree on the TJ/Calderon debate, one thing I will say is a lot of plays at the last minute are drawn up for TJ and it is not him being a ball hog.
Why does New Jersey run the same play where they drive all 5 Raptors converge in the paint and they kick the ball out to someone for a wide open three?
The reffing seemed awful today, maybe that is because I was there and any questionable call was followed by a [censored] chant. Do others agree.
If there is a game 7 I will be there [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] FPPs.
