Do you guys understand what I mean about the short stack players just biding their time to give away their money?
They seem to be on a course to double up and get out and they play incredibly bad. I see them making unnecessary bluffs or pushing top pair weak kicker and hoping its good. The big stacks are usually the TAGs. Unfortuantely I cannot get the best of both worlds. I cannot seem to find any tables with all $200+ stacks and donks. Yet I find tables with stacks ranging from $40 to $150 and guys playing incredibly dumb. |

[ QUOTE ] So is this thread just for people who are too lazy to go to BBV now? I hope so. Everyone go check out my one-outer post. [/ QUOTE ] It was a highly anticipated HU matchup between an MSNL'er and someone who was one not too long ago. Figured some of the ppl here that don't frequent BBV would like to see it, and maybe learn something. [/ QUOTE ] Aye, alot of wisdom to be found. |

'The big stacks are usually the TAGs'
O RLY? I usually find that big stacks on players I don't recognize are really bad players on sick good runs - I love to sit down with an unknown big stack. Often the fish leaves the table after donating his stack to a TAG, and so the TAG leaves as a result, meaning TAGs often do not get a chance to build up 400 and 500 BB stacks. This is hardly scientific but thinking big stack = good is a mistake. But yeah, I played with a lot of those kinds of donkeys at NL200 and they are bad - playing a table with them isn't as bad as some would have you think. |

Nah, that's easy. He floated oop to c/r turn but when he made his pair on the river he checked to induce a bluff.

holy crap wtf at table summa home tonight [/ QUOTE ] I <3 that guy who lucked his way to a $6500 stack and then blew it in 37 hands. Funny thing is, I had a few hands early in the session that were tough decisions, so I noted them to come back and possibly post. Then, I see that in 2 of those hands, megafish was the villain, and I probably should have pushed harder with my strong but non-nut hands... oh well. I still took $2500 off that table. |

I've been experimenting wih a LAGier style of play. Wow it's getting under people's skin... I think villain is a 2p2'er, so maybe someone will own up.

CO has been raising limpers all day and since I'm two to his left, it's been killing my chance to play. Two limpers to him, he makes it 75 - I make it 215 with 25s in the SB, he calls. Flop is K85 - I bet 300, he calls. Turn is a beatiful deuce, I check, he bets 600, I push, he calls. River T, AK no goot, I win around $3300. Wow - my 2000th post. I guess it's fitting that it's about big wins. |
