^^ You must be smoking crack rocks if you think The Final Cut > The Wall. That said, my favorite is Wish You Were Here, with Animals and Meddle tied for 2nd. Hmmm time to go to listen to one of these.

I found a CD of Meddle somewhere ridiculous (like in the trash or on the street) a long time ago. It's my favorite that I can think of.

The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Only 'cause I'm fond of the '60s. And lunatics.

"Animals" I have to say is probally the best album of all time!!
I absolutly love listening to "Wish you were here" on vinyl, but "Welcome to the Machine" just feels out of place. "Darkside" is great, but its all singles and "Meddle" awesome but they had a little too much acid during that one. Animals has the best flow to it and it is a complete work of art. Each song compliments the next, a musical masterpiece. Perfection!! |

Wish you were here. Not a hijak but what album is "When the tiger broke free" off of? [/ QUOTE ] This was in the movie version of The Wall, but not the album. Later it was added to The Final Cut: "[The Final Cut was reissued in a remastered edition in 2004. This edition added "When the Tigers Broke Free" — originally heard in the soundtrack to The Wall, but its moody, war-obsessed soundscape is better suited for The Final Cut — as the fourth track, inserted between "One of the Few" and "The Hero's Return," where it fits nicely into the album's narrative.]" Link |

Wish you were here. Not a hijak but what album is "When the tiger broke free" off of? [/ QUOTE ] None. It was written for the Wall but wasn't on the album. I think it was in the movie, though. It was finally released on CD with their greatest hits album: Echoes My fave is Wish You Were Here with Animals a close second. |
