Got to say, I'm taken aback by the unanimity of OOT on this.

While I certainly think he's out of order, don't you think you are being a bit harsh on her? I mean, the immediate assumption that she is either laughing at me, treatimg me like an idiot or is a stupid bitch seems a little over the top. Maybe she just didn't want to be rude to a friend?

Having said that I think I do need to make clear that this guy needs to respect some boundaries.

The fact that she has dealt with a partner cheating should make her understand your concern. Talk to her about it tomorrow and tell her how you feel. If she is unsympathetic, its only been 3 months, move on.

I have no idea what MAACO means, but yeah, he was. Like I say, I think he sounds like a [censored], but i'm willing to suspend judgement as he's her friend.

If she just didn't want to be rude, she should have told you that. And then she should have thrown them away. If she had any respect for you and the relationship at all, she wouldn't have accepted them. Dump her and find someone who will respect you enough to not put you through crap like that. This should never have been an issue.
