Default Bump dis\' chit

ArchAngel kindly linked to this in another thread, but it's classic enough that it deserves a full-fledged bump for those who may have missed it...

I did sing Rocky Mountain High while I flew in. Then I lit my Country Music Award on fire.

What makes a trip report folksy?

"Hi. First we landed. Then we went to the hotel. Then I got rivered in the 2/4 game. Then I went for dinner. I liked the restaurant. I will take my kids here. Then I played a $5 tournament and got rivered. I lost money, but I had a good time."

Any Vegas trip report without booze, hookers, nugs, or breaking the law can not be a "trip" report.

In fact, this whole thread should have been titled a Vegas trip

Default Bringing back a classic . . . and asking a question:

[ QUOTE ]
Another time, 2kf wins a huge pot and after the hand, passes $3 to everyone at the table so that everyone would have a free ride to see the next flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

Can you do this? I have limited B&M experience and I saw one guy try to give another guy some chips and the dealer said, "no-can-do." I would love to do this some time, but don't want to ruin the thing by being told I can't do it.

Thanks for bumping this. Those are some freaking awesome memories.

We definitely raised the bar for ourselves with that trip, but Vegas still has so much untapped potential, kegs and ass. The bar can and will go much, much higher.

Rest assured that next time we're in Vegas, we'll be calling on 2+2 to help tear Vegas a new one.

Rest assured. This is a time when the sequel will be better than the original.
