Someone find that one thread where some guy somehow robustoed a 60,000 roll and was killing the high stakes pros, by being a huge donk. He was going on ridiculous swings.

About ten years ago, Binions Horseshoe in Vegas had a tournament series called Hall of Fame or something like that. A very young player about 21 or so won one of the Omaha events for like $19K or so, which was a decent tourney win at the time. This was before the internet and television boom, so a young player winning a tournament was sort of a big deal. BTW, this guy was perpetually broke and looking to get staked so $19K was huge for him. So after winning the tournament he goes down the street to one of the pawn shops and gets himself a Rolex. He then goes back to Binions and sits down playing $100 a hand BJ. By morning he had to sell the Rolex back and completely busto.

I was coming back from hospital after a minor surgery & was on pain killer, I was thinking that I shouldn't play poker & go sleep because I might not have all my head.

once at home, the 1st thing I did, was to log on full tilt, & see Phil Ivey playing HU with David Oppeinhem on 15-30 LHE. I obviously jumped in the game !

PS- it was in 2004, & at this time that was the biggest limit on FTP, & at this time, a FTP'pro could site on a mid-limit'table without to have a 100'names'lineup on the waiting list.
