Back in the thirties in Harlem, there was a very renowned solo jazz dancer by the name of Snakehips, which is really one of the best nicknames ever. It covered the two things he was known for: his hips, and his snake. He invented a step that was a very precise way of walking forward while swinging his hips around. He'd start moving like this when the band put on something slow and sultry, and the girls would just start flying at him. He would bang 2 or more girls a night. I've taken a couple classes, actually, on trying to get this step down, but it's tough. The girls in the class w/ me, though, definitely were enchanted with the instructor. This movement is a little different in that it's faster and not quite as provocative. It doesn't direct your vision right to the dancer's crotch. However, there's little doubt that these guys can get plenty of tail. It's only natural for girls to think that if you have this much control and rhythm w/ your legs and feet, you're going to have that much more control w/ your dick. I know I do the same thing with girls. If there are two girls out on the floor, one who's busting out and one who can barely manage a back and forth motion, who do you think's going to be better in the sack? Well, you might answer, "the one who's better looking," but I'd rather take a 7 who can move over a 9 w/o rhythm.

There are some very good vids on those forums. Crip walking originated from the crip gangs who used the walk to spell out their set to insult rival gang members. It used to be very insulting to a crip to see a non-crip doing this, and could easily get you hurt, regardless of skin tone. Now it has gotten much more mainstream and they dont set-trip as bad nowadays either. I still wouldn't recommend going to a random club in LA and having this routine in your mix. I knew a guy in high school who claimed to be in the crips, I think he was full of [censored], though. Anyway, he wore a lot of blue and he taught me to crip walk. I thought it was the coolest thing ever, but I don't think I could do it now if I tried.
I was particularly fond of the heel-to-toe variation.

All: Have some good C-walkin' music in your headphones and close your eyes when you're walking down the street. You'll find yourself naturally C-walkin'. Don't worry about the people, they'll know to get the f out of the way, and soon you'll generally have a whole train of chicks following you.
