all the newbies think tuan is great while one of the better online players just said the opposite, emulate your favorite players newbs, God bless chris moneymaker.

[/ QUOTE ]

that's some great quoting skills you have there, unless you think Raymer is a newbie.

PS: I have no idea if Tuan Le is any good, I doubt 90% of the posters in this thread do.

I think Daniel said it best (out of context) - "he's just lucky and he doesn't know what he's doing". He won every race and outdrew whenever he was behind. 2 pair here, 2 pair there, everywhere a 2 pair.

[/ QUOTE ]
worst post ever. putting "out of context" doesn't give you an excuse to totally distort the information for everyone here that didn't see what he actually said. what are we here, the national enquirer?

[ QUOTE ]
Uhmmmm no. Thats not what Daniel said. He said people watch Tuan on T.V. and just think he's lucky and has no clue as to what he is doing but he actually in fact has a great understanding of what he's doing.

[/ QUOTE ]

much better

[/ QUOTE ]

Putting Daniel's out-of-context quote was a joke, you morons. Come on, get with it here. See, it's funnier than if I just would've said "Tuan Le sucks", yet it still gets the point across.

Yeah just out of curiosity how many million dollar prize pools have you won? That's what I thought....

No one's saying he doesnt get lucky to win these. Anyone who wins one gets lucky, but he is also a very talented tournament player.

If a guy played like him on the internet they would call him a huge donk.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well if he plays the way he does at the WPT FT's that I've seen, he wouldn't be able to play long enough for anyone to comment on him. But maybe he just plays super aggressive in tournaments and final tables and can adjust when he needs to play with a tighter image during cash games. I really can't say because I have only seen him play 50 hands in my lifetime, and they were all in tournament FT's with shorter stacks in ratio to the blinds then you normally see in cash games. I doubt many of the posters who say how bad he is on here have seen anymore than I have.

However, he does gamble too much, especially early in the hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

does anyone remember the hand where tuan was playing 400-800 limit and called three bets cold with JT on live at the bike? he's ridiculous.

My first exposure to Tuan Le was him complaining that the amateur player at the FT was "a suckout artist" after several of his own stupid calls and sucking out repeatedly.

Kind of set me up to not like him.
