Usually an expert whose bluff was shown last time and talks in the next big pot hand about not bluffing, he would play his nuts exactly the same way as when he bluffed. I'm surprised how many took the bait here.

smells like a slowplayed aa/kk to me you can beat his aces with what he said, i think he has AA a gigando % of the time expect to see a slowplayed AA or KK at showdown I thought he would have AA a lot [/ QUOTE ] five separate posters putting him on aces (or kings)? wtf? the action doesn't look like AA to me at all. if he did have AA and smoothcalled the first raise in front, he got exactly what he wanted: another raise behind him; it would be time to bomb it with a backraise. and with the stack sizes involved, he should definitely be trying to get a bigger % in pf. instead, he just called again. his action looks precisely like what he actually held: a medium pocket pair. seriously don't get how so many of you put him on slowplayed aces. are you basing that read on his one sentence of table talk? |

Did you consider that Eddie put you on AA and he's only going to raise if he has you beat? So his range is most likely a set of 2's, 3's or 7s. I would have called the flop and gotten away on it on the turn. Tough hand though. I also saw you play another hand vs Jon where you have the straight and nut flush draw vs his already small flush. It was a tough weekend for you. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah I did consider it, I don't play too many live games so I don't know how often he will show up with AA, but it does seem like players slowplay it more live than online. I also thought he could perhaps have 45 Hand vs. Jon was just overthinking on my part but it happens, thankfully I've turned it around and gotten back into the black this week. schundler: no point in 3betting the flop, im obv not folding out any better hands so better to just reeval turn and give him a chance to fire another barrel on a bluff |
