I played 32/27, cos i thought 23/19 was just so lame. It actually helped alot. I was contesting the maniacs, shoving Q high vs 50BB shortstack who donkbetted me every fking time and he called with a lower Q and won. Shoving my combo draw in RR pot at the turn and win from his Ace high, overplaying AK and a [censored] of other hands in RR pot. And basicly reraising a [censored] preflop.

2k hands my AF was about 7, and i found out that most of the time, they dont have a damn..

you've never heard of aejones?

yeah he actually inspired me, it was funny, because some nits were even leaving my table. One guy left all my tables, then he accidently sit down again 5 min later, when he saw me he immidiatly left again lol. I must have done something right.

Sounds good but whats so lame about 23/19? Its probably more optimum than 32/27? Less fun mind

So what stats does aejones run at?

[/ QUOTE ]
haha yeah if you do it right 32/27 can get you profit, if you sit with thinking players, but ill prolly spew in the long run. You can really really have sick winning days if the cards fall your way tho cos they dont give you credit. But i think its lame to keep playing the same style over and over and never opening up your game. If you play 25/20 you have new tricks in your arsenal from playing very lag ..

I see so many players logging in 10s of thousands of hands and never really try new things and playing theyr weak tight style.

Yep I agree, only problem is if your profiting well at a certain style there's less incentive to experiment with a new style where you may profit less or even loose for a bit.

But Ive always been interested in opening up my game as I used to be as nitty as OP but have managed to open up to 23/18. It did take about 8 months. Last night I was randomly 27/20 (only 600 hands sample though) but if Ive profited lots at a level I don't mind spending some time experimenting with my game/style.
