Didn't watch. But i've eaten one before. It's honestly not that big a deal. It's hot as [censored] and hurts like hell for about 15 mins, but it really isn't gonna make you freak out or anything. You just want to keep drinking stuff and eating stuff to keep down the burning.

One weird thing was that it was like a delayed reaction. I ate it and was like WTF? That's not hot at all. Then after about 5 seconds it hit.

On a side note, Habanero's are really [censored] good. It's too bad the heat is so intense because they are one of the best tasting peppers.

as for the delayed reaction the kid could have just chewed it with his teeth breathing in through his mouth and then when he actually tasted or swallowed the juices THEN it hit him.

There's another vid on the site of a guy trying to eat 10 habanero's in one sitting cause a kid bet him $20... LOL.

It's actually really impressive because he downs about 4-5 of em without any wincing or bitch whining. Then he of course yaks, but damn way to make the redneck in the OP look like a PU$$Y.

Ive never had a habanero but Ive had this:

I had this stuff at Firehouse Subs a few years ago and at the time this was the hottest stuff they had. Supposed to be hotter than a habanero I believe. One drop on a toothpick to the tongue and I was on fire.

^^ google tells me that is 500000 scoville units.

i ate some little dried pepper in my chinese food one time, i guess it was cayenne or something but i don't really know. it was uncomfortably hot but not really so bad, but i can imagine something 5x hotter would be pretty ugly.
