Sometimes your eyes can play tricks on you - especially when multi tabling. Perhaps he thought he had it but didn't.

He had two pair and a triple. That beats your one pair and a triple with A kicker. He should have gotten the whole pot. Don't complain to party or they might take your half pot away.

In all seriousness, this is a bit troubling. I started hunting around the 2+2 forums to learn something, but based on the responses in this thread, chances are looking dim!
