Your title sucks. He never said he didn't respect PA. He said he wasn't impressed with his play in their first four encounters. Maybe there's good reason for this. I'm not going to join in the flaming, but I will say that I'm definitely not anti-Townsend. However I do think it may be possible that, having been a small stakes player such a short time ago, Brian may have an unrealistic expectation of better than average luck. I'm not saying he isn't a great player, but I DO believe the possibility that he has overestimated his edge in some cases.

I garuntee you that if I played multiple limit holdem sessions against ANYONE in the world (including PA, TLK and Phil Ivey) I would beat them in at least one session. Does that really mean anything? I'm guessing the best HU limit holdem player in the world is no more than around 60-65% against a winning 10-20 SH limit player. Basically this one part of this one sentence invalids the rest of your post.
