Actually I remember late last year some guy busted on my $1/$2 PLO table to some bad beat and was saying it was the last of his money, and could the villain send him $20 to acknowledge what a sick beat it was and so he could try spinning up. I was in a big hand while this was going down and said "If I win this hand I will ship you $20". I made a massive bluff on the river having missed my draw, and the other guy folded... I like to think he was reading the chat and was influenced by my kindly altruistic nature. Either that or he didn't have sh-t either. I did send the first guy some money, too. Do unto others, and all that.

Jim, how much do you think an "expert" can make doing this? Probably a lot less than a good panhandler I'd imagine.

I hate the beggars--there are so many of them on FT. Back when I played a lot of HU, I'd sit at NL600/NL400 with like 5-6gs spread accross the tables, and people constantly hounded me for money. Two "girls," said they watched me play all the time. A different "girl" asked for my screenname because she wanted to send me pics. It's so [censored] annoying to deal with.

Hmmmm.... maybe as much as $40 a day! Lol. That is, if you get a reputation for paying people back. If you mean how much money can you get, and never pay back, then not much. Since one person is unlikely to send you free as opposed to lent money more than once, so you have to start again getting their attention, persuading them to take the time out of their game to do it, etc.
Sure, panhandling is more profitable. But does it enable you to play online poker? Perhaps not. |

one time I sat down at 2c-4c LHE on stars with a few thousand because thats how I roll, anyways some player
(chick name/avatar) was busted out and said something like "wow, you got a lot of moneys, you're obv a baller, can you spot me a buy in?" (which is what I'm looking for when I hit the penny tables w/ a few gs) so I sent her a buck, and all the other players were all buttsore saying 'Lucky You' to her FWIW Full Tilt seriously sucks because of the railers; some schmuck was begbirding a FT I was at and not 2 seconds after I get Aces cracked aipf vs A6o runner runner, this knucklehead is blowing up the chatbox for 10$, and actually got all offended threatening my chat when I told him to gfy with your momma's under-the-pillow stick - |
