I got one of these puppies for 2200 and received an astounding 47 min battery life, thus making it my most expensive paperweight.

I work tech support at my college and we use almost all dells. We got in new laptops (about 2k but we get discounts etc) with the care 2 duo, 2 gig ram, 15 in screen, very nice. bought the extended battery and its almost 3.5-4 hours of life with constant use. Wish i had one of those [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Been a tech geek for 15 years and switched from Wintel to Apple about a year ago. Parallels runs the few programs that are not available on OS X (PokerStars). No viruses, no spyware, no rebooting every other day (I honestly cant remember the last time I had to reboot).

Remember about a month after you got your high speed Internet (DSL/Cable/T1) and you said 'God, I'll never go back to dial-up'? Well after a month with OS X you will wonder how you lived without it for so long.
