Even if this is the correct text - so what.

If they thought your use of Epass was illegal now, they would stop it.

Until recently the vast majority of their business was porn. You'd want them to shut down accounts trying to access child porn wouldnt you?

Of course if they want to put themselves immediately out of business they could take the few hundred some folks leave in an account for doing something epass first allowed them to do....Do I see the sky falling? Did izzy spend some time with gaboon?

[/ QUOTE ]

The sky isn't falling but it's a terrible policy. I will never feel good about having large sums of money on EPP.

I may have noticed something new?

If you go to edit your profile to see Contact or Billing information...

For country, it says "subject to controlled Account Features", which is linked. It then says:

Account Holders from this country are subject to the following limited Account Features :

Load Money with a Credit Card NO
Online Purchases with Visa Virtual YES
Make ePpurchase Transactions (What's this?) YES
Create Gift Accounts YES
Receive Money from other Personal Accounts NO
Send Money to other Personal Accounts YES
Receive Money from other Business Accounts YES
Send Money to other Business Accounts NO
Purchase a Visa Card YES
Withdraw Money from Visa Card YES
Withdraw Money via Bank Wire Transfer

Can't load with credit card anymore?

[/ QUOTE ]

Take a look at that thing again. It says:

**Subject to controlled Account Features

If you look at the list of countries, some have ** at the end. The US is not one of these countries.

Default We\'re a dying breed.

I'm annoyed with all the poker site's policies on how you have to withdrawal by the same method as you last deposited. I really, REALLY don't want to transfer $100k from my FT account into EPP knowing that these new policies have been made. I've heard some real horror stories about what happened to some people on Neteller. The transfer to my bank account alone takes 7 days. That's 6 days 23hrs 59 minutes that EPP has you by the balls.

I think it would be +ev for me to buy a house in British Columbia. Escape all this BS. I'll even be able to play on Party. Word.

LOL, this is one of the real ironies of the First Amendment.

Poker, which for a price teaches socially useful skills, is NOT protected, except under the limited protections afforded commercial speech. Porn however, for adults, is protected and, under ACLU v Gonzales, DOJ is enjoined from overly intrusive enforcement activities against someone using the Internet for essentially whacking off all day and night.

Well now we know the names of our future payment processors. Maybe Pornostars, Full Whack Porno, and Ultimate Porno

[/ QUOTE ]

LMAO. Very nice.

I'm pretty sure the poker site's policies are that you have to withdraw however much you have DEPOSITED by EPASS back into EPASS. You are then free to cash out the rest with a check. Are you saying that you have deposited 100k into FT via epass?!?!?!

They dropped it months ago, as did Pacific Poker and Casino on Net (888). I do not think their decision was based on anything related to the US legal issues.
