Most of my friends hated Mars Attacks and Mystery Men but those types of comedies just crack me up. I also don't know many people who enjoyed From Hell and Open Range like i did.

This is too current and a really lame choice, but anyone who hasn't seen Rocky Balboa yet is obviously dismissing it out-of-hand when it's easily the second-best in the series.

Yeah this movie is awesome.

I've got two that I can think of: BaseKetball and The Good Shepherd. BaseKetball is easily in my top 7 favorite comedies and is ridiculously quotable.

The Good Shepherd got crappy reviews and gets huge amounts of hate, but I find it to be well made, well acted and exquisitely tragic. It is on par with The Remains of the Day in my opinion, which is also about a great personal tragedy occurring side by side with a great historical one.

For some reason, this is one of the first movies I remember seeing with my father, and I was pretty psyched when it came on cable, too...Not a great movie, but memorable.

I did too, love this movie, my dad only had a few VHS' when I was a little kid, so I grew up on this, eddie murphy raw, bill cosby as himself, and tons of porn.
