Nice to see I had a typo for mine

B3
B3
Out.

That should be

B3
B2
Out

just like my last couple weeks have been listed.

ok i said a bit about this in the other thread, but it makes no sense to require that a weekly winner be "in order" as far as who the last two they keep on stage are. they never make any kind of claim that the last two standing are actually the bottom 2. the whole point of listing the order in this contest is in case they only announce a bottom 2. in fact, if it had to serve both purposes, it could lead to contradictions. for example, this week I picked sanjaya, haley and phil to be bottom 3. if there were only a bottom 2, i was pretty sure it would be haley and phil. if, however, sanjaya had been in the bottom 3 like i predicted, i think they would have decided to keep him and phil as the final 2 on stage for dramatic effect. if we really wanted to keep track of the elimination order, we'd have to make picks for bottom 2 and an ordered bottom 3. e.g., my picks would have been ((phil), haley), (((phil), sanjaya), haley).

Grifter and I have been aruging in the other thread since he is winning percentage wise and I am winning overall. I don't know when you changed the rule but obviously one of us isn't going to be satisfied by the results, sicne when we started it was overall and then it was changed, whether fairly or unfairly (quite possibly a fair rule change).

Doing it percentage wise basically negates the first three weeks (when the contest started) because it was much harder than it is now. However, Grifter also got 12 picks right in three weeks whereas most people didn't even get that for the season. Maybe we can have some sort of split prize because I think there should be some sort of reward for being in the contest the whole time, as opposed to starting in the middle and tearing it up (it's like a minor leaguer getting called up 2/3 of the way through the season and then winning the batting title in baseball); however, tearing it up for however short of a time is still pretty impressive.

Phil is going to rock country week. Chris is not. They're both very vulnerable.

I'm happy with whatever GM decides. After all he is doing this to be nice and generate some interest...
