"n the sites I play my 30% rakeback is worth about 1 BB/100 so I would guess that WSEX rakeback is worth about 2.7 BB/100.
So you have to have a winrate of 1.7 BB/100 at my sites to compensate WSEX rakeback. So it makes sense to still play at WSEX under those circumstances.
Especially since the rakeback is a guaranteed income.
"

if you are a 0bb/100 winner you will go thru 1000bb downswings fairly often.

How and who?

I thought that sounded snappy. I can work out how with some searches. And "who" should be "whom" so it sucks. But if you could answer the who(m) part that would be good.

Volunteers?

Guy.

yeah i dont know why jba said that, i think his zero answer was either sarcasm or he mistakenly thinks they dont take rake out at the table?

3/6 is alittle more than 2.5bb/100 i believe, 5/10 goes to like 2, then 10/20 is like 1.5bb/100 (these are slight underestimates I believe).

so being a slight loser still comes with a pretty good hourly rate 4 tabling, it definitely takes a bit to adjust to the games though to even get to the point of close to break-even though if ur used to really loose passive games(couple weeks anyways). I still have lots of work to do on my game, but I had tons of weak-tight leaks prior.

I just like having a bad week and getting all the money i lose back on Monday, i also dont have nearly as big BR requirements as I might make myself have if i was getting no RB at a real soft sight (still keep like 800 bbs though). Psychologically theres also a difference, which for me is huge since I know I take out withdrawals every other week for all the things I do, so not having to see a hit to my BR that wont be compensated by RB keeps me not as much in that mindset of fretting over swings ect.

I figure I got the rest of my life when I have a real job to move up or find softer games, for now its just grinding for straight spending cash. Maybe i could make more somewhere else but for now my own inertia keeps me where i am.

sarcasm and annoyance because it's a bewildering question. who cares if it's worth 1bb/100 or 10bb/100 it works out to zero. what matters is to contrast earn+0 at wpx with earn+rb-rake at other sites. so it comes down to 0 vs. rb-rake, and then compare the earns. everyone knows wpx has 100% rakeback so he should be asking how much he gets raked elsewhere.

fair enuff i get ur point. kinda matters what the rake structure at wpex is tho i think it was a semi-fair question, it is quite a bit higher than say Pstars for example.

why doesnt it to make a comparison from site to site? it determines how many bb/100 im getting in my account each week as rakeback (granted its taken away at the table in theory and if it was less id just earn more from play), but to know my total earnings I need to know my win(loser) rate and how much im getting back in rb/100.

for OP:
I agree with what others have said...move down in limits, table/seat select better and you should have no problem making some money at 2/4-5/10 by just breaking even depending on the site. Also, I'm not sure if you do this but don't look at your stats after every session. You'll drive yourself crazy trying to figure out what you did right and wrong. Review some hands and move on. I honestly only check my stats once a month if that. We all know how your winrate can change from one session to the next and I think my game has improved by not worrying about week by week like I used too.
