[ QUOTE ]
anyone who reads that knows i copied and pasted it from an email [censored]. i wasn't trying to pawn it off as my own stuff [/ QUOTE ] I couldn't care less if you tried to pawn it off as your own stuff. What makes threads like these interesting though is when people come in, give an example or two of some obscure fact they didn't know, and then everybody else can come back and mock them for not knowing it. Seriously though, it bothered me alot more in the other thread, I just happened to look at this one second, and felt the need to post after looking at this one. In a thread like this what you did isn't so bad, but in the quotes thread in the El D forum, what makes that thread interesting is the way that people give a quote that's helped them, and then give a bit of background as to how/why it pertains to their life. Just giving off a huge list doesn't do that, and it just looks bad IMO. So my apologies if I sounded like a douchebag in my first comment, I really was just making an observation about the way newcomers might post before they get the feel of the place. |

[ QUOTE ]
Our eyes are always the same size from birth, but our nose and ears never stop growing. [/ QUOTE ] I don't know about the others, but you're wrong about the eyes - they grow. I asked my friend who is an optometrist. She said growth is what sometimes makes the eyes go near or far-sighted. |
