anyone else hoping this is just a temp. measure to keep the deposits coming in while ftp puts its own debit card system into place. The interpoker system seems awesome. This seems, well, not so awesome. It will be more awesome if i can withdraw via moneygram.

MoneyGram is a publicly traded company on the NYSE (ticker: MGI); I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were completely oblivious to this happening and I certainly don't see them having opened a contract with FTP to do this. I think FTP is likely using an intermediary at then trasferring the money a second time. |

[ QUOTE ] Scared to see the fees of using Moneygram...likely very wimilar to Western Union? [/ QUOTE ] quick trip report. sent 500$ to FTP via moneygram. the location was a rite aid and i had to speak on the phone (they had a special "moneygram phone") to set up the transfer and then the lady on the phone (very quick and courteous) gave me a reference number which i then gave to the clerk at rite aid and she finished the transaction. i deposited 500 and the fee was $9.95. once i entered the transfer info into FTP, it took about 30 mins to be credited to my account. very easy option to use if you dont mind going out of yr house. [/ QUOTE ] Is it $9.95 flat regardless of the amount of money, or how does it scale w/ $ deposited? Also, any word on cashing out w/ them? |
