I will play out my pittance on Stars, mostly tournaments now, and when/if I go busto,.. so long online.

Unfortunately I think this is probably the exact mindset of 99% of the US fish still playing online poker. The online game is pretty much done. See you at the casino.

QFT.

Sucks but what are you gonna do? Oh yeah, there are usually 7 players to the flop at 9/18 at Commerce. That'll do.

Doubt it. Of course we still have to hope a payment processor steps up and the sites themselves don't close their doors, but one payment processor being stopped, albeit a big one, will not stop 99% fish from wanting to play online.

You guys will enjoy trying to tear each other apart. Online poker is going to be real -ev real soon.

[/ QUOTE ]

That part is the part I don't agree with. The best player at the table will always be +EV (as long as he's good enough to beat the rake) Many regulars are only staying afloat because of the MEGA MORONS. Those people will die. But the many 2+2'ers that can actually "play" poker....will be fine.

Look at ABS, many players are NITTY, but just means you have to raise more. I for one am not worried about online poker supporting my living. Worst case scenario I just move down and beat up on the small stakes regulars.

Have you ever played at the Bellagio 10/20 NL game????

That game is SICK EASY...plays like a 6 max 1/2 NL game....I'd have no problem playing that for a living. (other than NO WAY do I want to move to nevada)

Yeah. You play less hands, but at 5x higher stakes.

I am wondering how many "winning" poker players came online from the B&M world, got picked clean by you multitabling grinders, then went crying to their elected officials about this awful rigged online poker. Could that have anything to do with the current troubles?

I am sort of enjoying this. Although you didn't directly bring "THIS" onto your heads, you were all working hard toward it. The government just hastened the process.

[/ QUOTE ]

lol, no. It's kinda cute that you believe that elected officials would listen to bad beats stories from random fish losing a couple of hundred online, but they do not. Government isn't going after poker anyway, this whole thing has been anti-sportsbetting crusade from the start, poker is just a bystander getting hit by a stray bullet.

I'm certain that you really are enjoying this, like you would enjoy watching a house on fire which belongs to a neighbor who makes more money than you has a hotter wife. You wish you were smart enough to make money playing online poker, but you are not, so of course it gives you pleasure seeing people smarter than you suffer, but we'll be fine tuff, really, because you see, we are smart and we will figure out the way to make money out of this anyway or maybe move on to something different and apply our brains there. Don't worry about us.

Euro players obviously are way better. Zero fish. Not a drop. Nope, only Americans suck at poker. What am I to do?

It's just annoying that Euro players are generally not so active during peak American hours.
