Tom Brady has become Derek Jeter to me. I cannot root for Tom Brady.

I am sure ESPN creamed it's pants when the pats and colts won.

The colts are my second favorite team, i'll be rooting for them.

I feel the same way about the Bears.

I was born and raised in Indiana, my Dad grew up in Chicago. The Colts arrived when I was 6, Dad raised me as a bears fan. The 85 team is the first NFL team that I remember with any clarity.

The Colts captured my heart long ago. I was going to school in Chicago when the Bears had their miracle run in 2001. The Colts had their "playoffs!?!!?!" year due to the Edge injury and I took a ton of crap from my friends there when Bears beat the Colts that year.

I talked to my dad today and he was very conflicted about the possible matchup. The fact that Grossman is from my hometown adds another level of complications. In any other situation I'd be rooting for the Bears.

Either way it's been a great football season as spectators for the both of us? In fact the past two years have been great.

I personally think the colts will win this one. It won't be pretty but I think the colts are tough as hell right now. Yet, I am going against my number one NFL playoff rule, don't bet against the patriots.
