I never understood people who would take the time and money to go to school, then get this close to being kicked out and NOT take the (likely minimal) preparations to make sure they DIDN'T get kicked out. How little motivation can you have?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm willing to bet OP didn't pay a penny of his own money for school. Most likely he is one of those people whose parents cheat on their taxes so he gets all kinds of monies from our government without having to pay it back.

Either that or his parents pay for it all of course.

Surprising that people who have everything given to them don't try at all or put any effort in what so ever isn't it?

I'd like to say that not everyone whose parents pay for college completely slack off. I have three brothers and sisters. My parents paid for all of our college educations. All graduated except one (who attended 1/2 a year at Dean Two-Year)—she's an artist so it didn't work out...

Obviously not everyone that is paid for slacks off, but it is way more likely that you're going to slack off if you're not going through on your own dime. Both of my parents can testify to that after being cut off by their parents after first year idiocy, taking a year off to work, then coming back way more motivated than before.

Just contemplating what I'd have to do financially to make university work for me right now makes my head spin.

i'm not bitter.
you tried to shoot an angle, and it *might* have not worked out for you, so you blame everyone for the system actually working out somewhat correctly.

similar $30 prize for anyone excluding op who notifies op's health insurance co of his attempted fraud.

whatever, like i said, i just hope it bites you in the ass.

c

[/ QUOTE ]

First off I did not blame anyone for what happened. I just think I deserve a C- and my profs think I don't. Also it was my advisor's fault by missing a academic meeting that dramatically changed someone's (my) future.

Attempted fraud? What do you think working the system means? There is no fraud in what I was attempting to do. See...what working the system means is that you try to take advantage of the "system" by finding a legal way to make the system to work in your advantage.

so you offer money to people to try to get me in trouble with the law? Yes. in fact you are an ass hat.

[ QUOTE ]

Even though I got a B on both my lab final and lecture final they still don't think I deserve the C-. what bitches.

[/ QUOTE ]

You blew off this class and tried to make it up at the end. The prof let you turn in 450/1000 points worth of late work, but you still can't hack a high enough grade on the final & lab to get a C-.

[/ QUOTE ]

Like I said before, I think I deserve the C-. saying "what bitches" doesn't mean I blame them, rather it means that I dislike their decision.
the 450 was cut in half because you can turn in any late work for 1/2 credit. anyway. I understand this is BBV and so on but these aren't the run of the mill flames. I don't know what I did that made everyone hate me...tried to get free health insurance? Yes it would fall under my parents insurance plan but what is wrong with that? I am not going to apologize for for my parents decision to help me out with college. My parents and my financial situation is none of your business.

P.S. I come to 2+2 to unwind not to impress you with my writing.

Studied hard and earned a B on both lec and lab like i said. So thats the real story.

[/ QUOTE ]
by this I mean I studied about 3 hr before each final

[/ QUOTE ]

not to be a dick, but 3 hours of studying does not mean you "studied hard". i wouldn't consider anything less than 10 hours "hard studying", and i know a lot of people who study a LOT more. 3 is cramming, and barely cramming at that.
