plaxico absolutely manhandles the guy and they BOTH get PI? that's so brutal

I think a mixed strategy heavily favoring the pass would maximize EV.

But if you are incomplete on 2nd then you are in a 3rd and 10 situation. Are you better off trying to converting a 3rd and 10 or a 3rd and 6?

Yeah, but that's not a comprehensive argument in favor of your point, especially since the median carry length is 2 yards(but for a litany of other reasons as well).

Just my opinion. Every coach I've played for have followed that theory as well. Is it right? No idea, just what has happened everytime the situation arose.
