Have you played there recently? On "fast" tables?

Yes. Most tables are still very slow though

Have you played there recently? If not, look at www.pokersitescout.com.

Yes, they are still well behind Party prior to the US ban, in both dollar volume, high stakes volume, and player volume. Not to mention fishiness. And that's after millions of Party players get cut off. Their marketing is an absolute joke, and their site suffers for it.

I'd like to play at Stars regularly, as it's now the biggest site, but the games stink compared to Party. You need solid marketing, affiliate programs and regular new player signups to get lots of fish in. Not HORSE and FPPs.

Stars is dumb.

They don't give me any bonuses for 4 months, then they give me one that clears in one day.

Ok thanks for the $150, I will go back to UB with rakeback+bonus+pts4cash. Bye.

Why don’t we keep the ‘doomswitch’ idiocy out of this thread so it gets taken seriously.

I agree with the OP's 1st complaint. The sit out times need to be adjusted.

I really hate when i'm multi-tabling and entering chat in one box. Then another table pops up and ruins my chat. GRRRRRR. party kept your chat in one box even if another had priority. at least until you pushed enter on that particular chat box.

Yes, please fix this. Easily the most annoying thing on Stars IMO.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree.

Also, when I load stars, I use pokerstars.exe, not pokerstarsupdate.exe because I don't want my table mods being overwritten.

If you had an .exe file that would update everything EXCEPT table graphics, it would make things a lot easier. As it is, before I update, I must backup all my mods, update, then reinstall my mods. Plus I never know when I've missed an update.

Not really a complaint, and I expect it affects very few players, but there it is...

Are you aware that if you install your mods as an xtheme they will not be replaced when Stars updates? You can do background, table, etc., although there may be some mods you can't do this way.

I believe there is some info on the Stars website on how to do this, also, search the Site Software forum.

1. Players sitting out. The new rule should be if you miss 1 round of blinds your kicked out of seat. I am tired of playing 7 handed in a full ring game because people are sitting out. I always have to leave the table and find new table as it breaks soon after the second person sits out.

[/ QUOTE ]

You nuts? You never have to get up for a few minutes during a long session? Stars wouldn't be silly enough to implement something so dumb.

Onaflag..........

[/ QUOTE ]

I am sick of this too, it is not just pokerstars either. one round is plenty of time. if you need more than 5 min you should have to find a new table. People abuse it way too much and just log off instead of leaving their seats.

I'm not sure how I feel about the sitting-out rule.

Maybe 5-minutes would be better with the exception that if you have returned and are set to play again when the big-blind reaches you then you don't get kicked-off.

This includes if some guy sits-out and the blind passes over you automatically. Which sometimes results in you getting kicked-off even though you were sitting there waiting to pay your big-blind.
very annoying.

I think 5 minutes might be a better rule because of the inconsistency of how long an orbit takes on different tables.

I can sit-out and take 2 whole minutes to take a wee-wee and make some more coffee and on a fast 6-max table I still get kicked-off.
Whereas on a full-ring table it is possible to sit-out for almost 10 minutes I think and still not get booted.

How about when you are playing and your wife/GF/roommate/the dog/or whatever does it for you goes under the table? Then you are glad you can sit out 3 orbits.

Thank you Stars

The dog said you only last three hands, not orbits. . .

The sitting out thing really is a problem. I was at four tables last night, all full ring, and all four tables had AT LEAST three players sitting out for the majority of the time I was at the tables. Then they'd pop in to play an orbit and hop back out for two more rounds. That's just ridiculous.
