Why would P. Gordon make a deal when he has a billion dollars in the bank?

In general, the quality of play was far above what I was expecting (a la PSII) with pros playing in shortstacked SNGs. Phil seemed to have the 6-max, pays 2, game down as well as anyone. Eric's 27% PFR after 20-something hands was maniacal. I'm a little disappointed they never got down to true pushbot stacks three-handed, but I know everyone else would hate that and complain.

Overall, that was a pretty solid broadcast for being live, although Koning should stick to English. Toto just looked confused.

There was a typo in your question. I fixed it.

I liked seeing every hand. I love the live show. Good but the final table of the WSOP main event was still better!

That seems unlikely unless he's made some monster investments. The company he worked for that was sold to Cisco was for $95 million and he only owned part of it. Plus he gave a lot of it away. I've no doubt he is exceptionally comfortable, but a long way from a billion.

I disagree. This one had some actual poker playing, not just a luckbox getting monster after monster.

This show was pathetic. The play was terrible and the commentators had zero grasp of nl holdem theory. Like way way way less than ESPN/TRAVEL/GSN commentators; at least they were bearable)

Maybe you missed the part of the show that he said he would give up everything he had for one wsop bracelet.
