Given the fact that they say NOTHING on their home page about cashing out, not even "cashout information to come.." or something, tells me that there's more than meets the eye going on here than the UIGEA. Very shady/

6-12 weeks is better than never.
JetSet was a very nice small and friendly site.
I'm just glad I only had a couple hundred bucks in there.
We will see what happens

just chiming in some optimism as well here:

I don't know how the fee structure works for poker sites and their processing cashouts via neteller/other payment methods, but I assume it is much cheaper for them to cut a check than it is to use payment processors to do this. getting their s* together and paying everybody by checks seems to make more sense than paying a bunch of fees to cash people out quickly; there is no longer market incentive for them to cash people out quickly if they aren't in business.

but this is just optimism for the sake of optimism. seems like a bad beat is pretty likely too.

Dang, I hope they don't rip all you guys off.

If they do, there could be about 50 angry internet poker players out there.

I almost loled milk out of my nose on that one.

I was bcraneop2001 at JSP, Played there since the beta-launch. Had about 40k points that I wish I could cash in for a book or something. I had emptied out my account a while back during a promotion. It was a 100% deposit bonus and I deposited $500 and was about 1/10 thru the promotion when for some reason JSP sent the $500 back to my neteller account. I contacted them and they swore that I had to of requested it. I know I didn't as I had over 3k in the account before depositing the $500. when they refused to let me send the $500 back and re-activitate my promotion, I simply withdrew all my money and moved to Fulltilt.

I did inquire about buying the software and domain from Jetsetpoker. Hopefully, they respond to my email.

The software was fairly good and I liked it. Interface was also very good. I haven't received any answers to my constant e-mails nor did they send me any e-mail on what will happen to the monies on deposit with them. I sure hope they do the right thing. Bcraneop2001-what would your intentions be if you bought the software and domain and would you accept USA players?

Due to Non Disclosure and Non Compete(s) that I signed, I cannot go into details, however, I would accept US players.

If you are that close to the owners can you please tell the rest of us who have money "stuck" at jet set if we will ever see the light of day? At their web site they have NOTHING at all telling people they will send the money via check or any other way. They don't talk about monies that were left in accounts. This isn't a good sign. You should realize that since they didn't have a big base to begin with...if they didn't give the money back the new owner would have very few customers.

Does Jetset have any incentive to give the players their cash back? (I have cash in my account yet, I tried to withdraw Oct. 2 but it was denied)

Well hopefully Jetset stopped because of the new laws and not because it was in financial trouble. If that is the case maybe it will be easier to pay out players to protect assests they have? (maybe not, who knows what the laws are that apply to them)
