You have me confused on this forthcoming statement. Why would you need to consult your attorney with regards to the PPA? Unless you plan to get more involved with them or you have uncovered some super secret dirt, it seems like a waste of your money and your lawyers time. I cant see you wasting money so im guessing this might be good... cubs |

[/ QUOTE ] I couldn't agree more. As awful as many actions taken by certain congressman, presidents, etc (ie... Bush, Frist), comparing them to Nazis does nothing more than show contempt for the real sufferings of those subjected to actual Nazism. In another post, someone ventured 'Fristylnacht' as a good name for this event. While clever and funny in a sick sort of way, its disrespectful to compare our current plight to people who's actual lives were in danger. We still live in a cool country. Let's try to be the reasonable voices and not partake in unnescessary comparisons and hyperbole. Our system is flawed, and yet we've been screwed by a sneaky, back-handed, shady, non-debated runner to a must pass bill. In my opinion, that's Un-American, unjust, and immoral. While these type of things are 'first steps' to real fascism, we are not even close to being there yet. Its all a matter of perspective, but I'm pretty sure a Holocaust victim (yes, there are still a few alive) would not appreciate unnessary comparisons to that evil. |
