$15 at 0.05/0.10 is only 150 BB, assuming you are talking about limit, which you do right? And thats a LOTS of bets to blow in 1.5 hourse, especially Full ring.

Did you play Full ring or 6-max?

[/ QUOTE ]

Oops, it is obviously only 150BB. I was buying in for only $5 and it was 3 buy-ins. I play only full ring games, and only no-limit, for now.

If this was NL it was only 75 BB (ie PTBB).

[/ QUOTE ]

In the NL context, doesn't "BB" typically refer to "big blinds" rather than "big bets"?

And I don't know what "PTBB" means.

So PT says you're a maniac and you ask if you need to tighten up?

I'm guessing two things:

1) You don't pay nearly enough attention to position preflop (i.e. You play the same hands UTG that you would from the CO).

2) You push too hard postflop with 2nd best hands or with good starting hands that missed the flop entirely (AK on a T high flop, or TT on an AKx flop).

A Blind monkey with a wrench and a poker book could win 100k if he had access to this website.

Seriously, not only do you make stupid bets and likely have a gambling problem, you have to be retarded.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think that starting with a 5K roll and trying to make 100K in year would be quite a challenge for most poker players. Many could probably do it but I think you'd have to put a ton of hours in. edited to add: this particularly applies if the player is new or in this case, a losing player to start with.

[/ QUOTE ]

I can reload if I need to, so long as I make $100k in profit by the end of the year. I'd rather not, though.

5k + 10k + 20k + 40K = 75k thats a good start

DO BLACKJACK! Surely you can win 5 consecutive hands in a row. Just have to find someplace to take a 40k bet on one hand..

nah just kill your friend then delete this forum (motive) and you wont have to pay the bet... dont want to do that? 1 table $1/$2 at party using SSH and read it every night and read forums and move up and then youll get it... eventually... What about casino whoring? Risk of busto is greater but a change.

(crib notes in case you didn't see first thread: I have been loser in online poker for two years, but I bet someone $10k I could make $100k in the next year. I started with $5k.)

[/ QUOTE ]

Last suggestion - take your money and start your own poker room and pray it takes off by some miracle. Or sell poker products.. it said you had to make 100k in poker

Edit: I read that as the poker business and not simply playing... Maybe but some tables and chips and rent them to charities.

I think my post-flop play is fairly appropriate for the games I'm playing. At first I think I was bluffing too much on the turn and river, but I think I've corrected for that. But I agree that I am probably playing too many suited-connector and suited-ace type hands OOP preflop. I also have a tendency to raise any pot that is folded to me when I am in LP, no matter what I have.

Very creative joke. No one had thought of this yet.

I can't believe this thread has gone so long without anyone mentioning that 3000 hands is meaningless.

Maybe someone already said this, but I can't imagine why you would play 2 years of losing poker online. I hate it when I have a losing week, let alone 2 years, wtf..

I don't think I need 30,000 hands to know that I'm making mistakes.
