Honestly...standard gun.

1 in 6 for 10 mill.

[/ QUOTE ]

at first i thought it would be a high number for myself. but now that i think about it i would definitely do it with 6 chambers. for me, i really don't see how it couldn't be the right decision.

Also, i think i am happier than the average joe about life in general.

Do some EV calcs on this, at least in your head before you say something that dumb

dying in your 20s>>>>>>>>>>>&gt ;>>>>>>>>>>>wor se than the amount of joy you would get out of 10 mill for 60 years

[/ QUOTE ]

If you die in your 20s it's just a bang and then nothing (expecting no afterlife). You won't suffer or know how happy you would've been if you'd lived another 60 years.

According to this logic it would be correct to take any odds for that 10 mill.

10 million is way too little to get any reasonable number of chambers. A person could easily blow through that in less than a year living it up. 10 million wouldn't even be enough to get a huge mansion, a few sick cars, and a decent yacht.

Anyone who is saying 500, 1000, 5000 + chambers is not forgetting reality. I'm sure we all do things far more dangerous than a 1 in 5000 chance of killing ourselves. Ever weaved through traffic at 100+mph? Ever forget to wear your seat belt?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm pretty sure there are very few people that have ever done things that have 1 in 5000 (or worse) chance of getting killed.

Only thing that I can think of now that's close to that range is an average BASE jump.

Average base jumps are much more life-threatening than 1:5000.

That said, 100 chambers.

By average I meant jumps done by experienced jumper (at least some skydiving experience is he/she's a first timer).

It's pretty hard to estimate, because it's not a regulated sport and nobody knows how many jumps have been made and also the amount of total jumps is so low there's no statistical significance.

Only numbers I've seen are (saw it on a BASE forum, don't know if they are correct) these:

Bridge (where jumping is legal and organized in one day a year): 1 death per 15,000 jumps
Terminal wall (where jumping is organized) in Norway: 1 death per 3,000 jumps

The more i think about it and the more i think about my current situation somewhat similar to beardy faced man i was hassling in BBV(he's pretty cool btw). I'd take 1 in 3 for 5 mil.

Anyone got 5 mil to burn and a sick sense of humor?

So far we've only been talking about one bullit which is obviously no fun 'cause you have at least 50% of living (Unless you go 1 1).
Lets heat things up a bit and hear if someone would go for example 2 bullits in 3 chambers!

Im 23, and about 8/10 on the happiness scale.
