I agree it is a separate problem. I'm just saying if no one here can help you I'd lay 100 to 1 PP can't either. Even if PP support was solid, I'm saying as a programer that these sporadic, hard to identify problems are soo sooooo tough to nail down.

I would recommend doing what everyone else said, reboot and reinstall everything, and pray. If you have to install programs other than PP on your HD try to space out the installations as much as you can, like a week apart. This way if one of them interacts poorly with PP at least you know which. Also try to figure out if there's any commonality between the times it does do it and doesn't.

I would say maybe you have some hardware problem with your internal clock. But since other's seems to have the same problems with party's timer, sounds like it's something on their end. When you do reinstall don't change any settings or add anything like HUD etc. at first. Then change/add one thing at a time over however long it takes for the problem to usually develop.
