pokey, you move up quick!! Hows 200NL? [/ QUOTE ] So far, $200NL sucks hot sweaty donkey balls. After 500 hands, I'm up $11.25, and that's only after making some positively HEROIC plays. I did have a couple call-down-the-maniac-and-get-sucked-out-at-the-river moments, though, so I'm hoping it's just variance. One thing I seem to notice: the players are quite different between $100NL and $200NL. - I'm getting paid off with monsters less often - I'm getting free cards less often - I'm getting floated more often - I'm able to successfully limp into pots less often - My blinds are attacked more often I'm really hoping I just stumbled into a couple unpleasant tables, and that this is not the norm. Is this the way $200NL always goes?? |

Pokey,
there's a fairly significant difference between 200NL and 100NL at FT. As you say, they are more aggressive and they are harder to stack. There are more regulars who are semi-decent and sometimes pros. Stick with it, it's still a beatable game And what are you doing limping into pots anyway? |
