1. start smoking
2. drink more hard alcohol 3. start drinking earlier in the night and skip dinner, or wake up later and skip lunch 4. don't let yourself eat at the end of a night drinking I had a much easier time staying thin in college because i would wake up so late and then only eat one meal a day (4-6ish) be full enough until i started drinking for the night, and then just forget about food when i was drinking/chain-smoking all night. |

I'm pretty experienced with drinking beer and losing weight.
The trick is to stay active while reducing the number of meals per day (or total calories from meals). If you eat a good-sized/healthy brunch and limit yourself to a snack in the evening you can drink a lot of beer at night. You still need to workout regularly to keep up your muscle mass/metabolisim. If anything, this will slow your gut-enhancement. |

Also, I dont want to become some douche that is asking everyone how many calories are in my meals. I dont have to be that guy do I. |

Does hard alcohol really have that much fewer calories than light beer?

Keystone,
It is possible to live hard and look good doing it. However, you have to pull out the big guns. Basketball and surfing are not exercise- they are recreational activities. Deadlifts, squats and sprinting. Eating lots of chicken, steak and fish. These are the things you need to do if you want to 'have your cake and eat it'. One of the things I have found that I must accept if I want to drink hard and stay in shape is, unfortunately, a bit of a hangover. Eating heavy will pretty much negate the morning after effects for the experienced imbiber. Eating clean does not afford one this luxury. It's worth it, though. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yes, but the key is that units of alcohol actually have the same amount of calories... it's just that there is plenty more [censored] in a 12oz can of beer than a shot of whiskey. If you want to get [censored] up while not drinking beer, try drinking Jameson on the rocks; it's probably the easiest HA to drink on the rocks, if you're not "experienced" (I am not, I can't drink anything straight but Jameson). |

[/ QUOTE ] I disagree with the fact that basketball and surfing arent exercise, but I think that maybe I could do more running. I could definitely eat a lot more fish and chicken, but yeah that hangover part really sucks. Nothing better than getting a huge burrito at 3 am after the bars close to soak up all those drinks. |
