I can't believe i just saw the ol' double steal with 1st and 3rd. Except Reyes got an awful jump. This just isn't a very good start for the Mets. Especially with Delgado and Beltran striking out after 1st 2 get on.

David Wright's 1st homer is coming in 4th...

Well what starts as a good innign ends [censored], 4 hits, one of which is a homer and one caught at the wall and we only get 1.

Also I have to say I'm listening to this game on radio and I am sick of Tom McCarthy. ON Beltran's ball he went into a NO DOUBT homerun call. I was disgusted that that was an out.

And if Delgado is gonna be out at the plate on a throw up the friggan line he's gotta be held. I mean I think you should always send the runner 2 outs unless its totally ridiculous and that play sounded like it. How are you out on an errant throw?

Heilman continues his streak of appearance where at minimum he gives up a fly ball to the track, and he only gives up runs in clutch situations. God I hate this guy.

Hm...glad I couldn't see the end to this one. So that trade deadline deal of Heilman and Millege for Oswalt wasn't that bad was it?

Well, for all the people who want Wright batting 2nd permanently, you now can see why this can't work, if Wright did what he did in the 5 hole today the Mets score a ton more. Though I do agree with him being there today maybe for a week but this cant be a permanent solution.
