Jigsaws - that is just UGLY...
Raise that ALL DAY LONG from the big blind, fold to a re-raise. I think this hand could have been over right here, saving you like a million dollars. Lead the flop, 3 bet/push over a raise. As played, raise the turn, push over a re-raise. Your river ZOMG GOT U is horrendous as your hand is totally transparent now and therefore is unlikely to be called by anything worse. Obviously you have to make the raise given that you have the nut flush and he has not much behind, but what I'm saying is that the money should have been in a long, long time ago. |

As for raising from the big blind - I have a ridiculously tight raising range from the blinds if I'm with a table full of unknowns. I just hate playing raised pots out of position.
I'm willing to concede that I should've led the turn as well. Lead, check-call is a line I take with other hands as well, though. Meh, I dunno. I didn't even notice the board paired, by the way. I'm just like.. WHOA THE NUTS. BOMBS AWAY! |

Jigsaws, I would much rather play this hand OOP with some kind of range to go on that play it OOP versus an unknown who has limped the CO i.e. has any two cards. If you are ridiculously tight from the blinds then he is going to have to tighten up to call you. Remember also that you are heads up, so even though yes you are OOP, you can still take command of the hand with a nice flop lead and turn c/r.
I think that checking the BB here is really bad when you have a hand this good. |

Hopefully no one smart enough to be a 2+2er is dumb enough to commit the cardinal sin of berating fish.
Btw, I 100% agree with raising out of blinds with KQs. I raise out of the blinds with KQ+, TT+, sometimes ATs+ and find that at least 50% of the time I get everyone to fold, probably alot more. Punish the limpers. |

You guys shouldve gone to that 25nl game. $125 average pot size when I left. I lost $200, jbird lost $300. Manny left with a stack of $700. Maybe next time you can take advantage of the free money .
