One more favorite of mine that has become truly unpopular.

The Blair Witch Project is the scariest horror movie that has ever been made. Not the best, but clearly the scariest.

It's not an opinion. The Times routinely gets stories right. The often spoken criticisms, true or not, are not about accuracy. They are about bias. To conflate any competent newspaper with a tabloid that deliberately makes up stories is retarded.

Whoa, that's high praise. The NYT "routinely gets stories right." So does the Enquirer. Have you not seen the many, many examples of the NYT making humongous errors in their newspaper over the past few years?

At least you're not trying to argue that it's not tremendously biased... or are you?

I bet DaveR is really fun at parties. Anything he doesn't agree with is "retarded."

He's still attacking the unpopular opinions posted here because he disagrees with them (brilliant!), and now he's arguing over whether the opinions are really opinions.

I may be "retarded," but you strike me as being pretty insufferable.

P.S. In case you missed it, this thread is about unpopular opinions, i.e., you may disagree with some of them.

[/ QUOTE ]

Are you using bigger words because I called you retarded?

[/ QUOTE ]

Okay, instead of "insufferable," use "[censored]-ish." More your speed?

A cinnamon raisin bagel is not a bagel.

Why?

[/ QUOTE ]

Bagels are part of a salty breakast. They are not to be confused with pancakes, waffles, french toast or any other sweet breakfasts. Bagels should be topped with either neutral (plain, scallion, veggie cream cheese), smoked/salted fish, or tuna/chicken salad (provided that the chicken salad isn't of the sugary-sweet with raisins variety). A cinnamon raisin bagel with honey walnut cream cheese is a crime against nature. It should not be called a bagel or sold in places which sell proper bagels.

In actuality, bagel shops should be mandated to limit their selection to the following: plain, sesame, poppy, onion, garlic, salt, everything.

My unpopular opinion: Pizza that requires a topping (other than some garlic powder or red pepper flakes) is not worth eating. Also, Chicago pizza sucks balls.

wow a bagel snob.....never thought i'd see one of those.

I think the cin raisin bagels are quite good...i'm perfectly fine with calling them something other than a bagel, provided they are still available for purchase.

Here's one the California-ites might like.

"In-N-Out burgers are quite possibly the most overrated fast food burger in existence"

I have no idea what you're talking about, and I wonder if you do. OOT is the frame of reference in the OP.
