ok good i wanted to make sure i wasn't crazy. i definitely did not get that vibe either, and i thought that her friend probably thought i was cute and mentioned that to her. and she probably isn't interested. i did go to the party but was with my other friend who was annoying me and i was just generally not having a good time. i saw her there in passing but hadn't slept in like 4 days so after 3 strong drinks i passed out on one of the couches in the bar the second i sat down. l.o.l. off to greener pastures.

Ok I'll fill in the backstory a litle so Brian can concentrate on the more juicy details...
So Brian was on AIM with me while this girl sent Brian a myspace message saying she wanted to talk to him on Yahoo. It took her a long time to figure out how to use it, but she finally got it. It turns out she was having a big fight with her family, and was thinking about leaving town that night. I tell Brian to suggest that she can hide at his place for a few days, and he does. She seems reluctant, and he suggests meeting for drinks first. She says it seems crazy, but she starts to rationalize it figuring that if she's going to leave town anyway who knows who she'd meet, and she does need somewhere to hide where her family won't find her. They keep talking for a while, and Brian tries one more time to suggest going for a drink: TimM: she can certainly meet for a drink and then decide if shes comfortable with the idea Brian: weare talking abut school now Brian: suppose i'll run that line randomly Brian: [23:16] Brian: hm yeah, i didnt know anyone outside of my class really [23:16] Brian: is he on ur myspace? [23:16] Girl : nope [23:17] Brian: well we can certainly meet for a drink then see if youre comfortable w/ the idea of staying here for a few days [...] Brian: i think the 3rd time Brian: is pushing it too far lol Brian: o well Brian: i have nothing to lose Brian: [censored] i thought i could capitalize on this [censored] timm u lead me astray Brian: this is like [censored] perfect but now im coming across as a stalker Brian: maybe i should have chated w her more TimM: have you asked about her problems, shown interest?
